April 18

On Wednesday evening Bishop Paul Bradley, his wife Pat, and children Lizzie and Tannen, and friend David Claire, Jr. were in an accident outside Cedar City. They were pulling thier trailer to go camping with friends for Spring Break and ran into some wind. The trailor jack-knifed and their Suburban rolled. All were able to get out except Pat. She was cut from the vehicle and flown to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center.
Pat's injuries include two crushed vertebrae, four broken ribs, a fractured clavicle, a fractured sternum, a basal skull fracture, bruised lungs, a torn ear, and facial lacerations. A plastic surgeon has fixed her ear and lacerations and she had surgery this morning to correct the broken vertebrae. It went very well and her surgeon hopes to have her up walking by this evening. Bishop and the others sustained only minor injuries and are all doing well.
This blog will be updated daily. You are welcome to leave a message for Pat, and I will be sure to get it to her.

  7. Pat,
Our family can't stop thinking about you and your family. You mean so much to the children and they won't stop talking about "Sister Bishop." Your family has been amazingly stalwart. Their courageous and positive attitudes are infectious and have comforted those around them when it should be just the opposite. Undoubtedly, as your friends know, this comes from you. We love you and it's difficult to fight the urge to rush to your bedside, but, we know it is crowded there with your loving family. We will continue to pray for you and stand ready to assist you in any way that we possibly can. Just know that you are amazing Pat and we love you dearly.
